Atmospheric in Madrid

Designers Ciszak Dalmas, Alberto Gobbino and Andrea Caruso took an archeological approach to renovating an old Madrid apartment, painstakingly removing layer after layer of linoleum, wallpaper, paint and false ceilings to reveal the bare bones of the original space. Now a home and studio to Ciszak Dalmas and his family (with creative partners Alberto and Andrea working there by day), it's a remarkably serene space that is conducive to creative thinking.
